The WaterTech Economizer is the workhorse of our water softening equipment group. It is simple, economical and combines rugged construction with an attractive contemporary design. And it's not only highly accurate and reliable; the modular design of this six cycle down flow brining design makes disassembly, service and maintenance a snap. The Economizer saves up to 50% in salt and uses considerably less water by regenerating only when regeneration is needed. Less frequent regeneration reduces sewerage taxes in addition to effecting salt and water savings. It provides carefree, reliable, precise operation for both residential and commercial applications. To program it for residential use, just set the time, set the hardness and it automatically monitors system needs and regenerates only when necessary. Programming for commercial applications is based on gallons per regeneration. A lock/set program feature makes it tamper-free and insures that it continues to function as programmed. A simple mechanical meter accurately monitors outlet service flow as low as .15 GPM even if power failure were to occur. It completely eliminates costly wasted capacity due to premature regeneration, especially on those applications with highly unpredictable water use needs.
